First I was a poet, then I was a mom to Johanna, then I was a peace activist, then I was a Congregational pastor for twelve years (I still preach when I am invited), and now I am a not-so-newly minted librarian. In all of these roles I have been a lover of good stories, and a great admirer of those who tell them well.
I have a dentist appointment at 9 a.m. I don't have to be anywhere until 9 a.m. O happy day! What follows are bits and pieces of things that have crossed my mind and my desk lately.
